Welcome to the home page of the Mother Pluckers, Gwen’s Adult Harp Ensemble. We are a group of adventurous modern women who have learnt harp as adults and enjoy playing together. The group was founded in the season of 2002-2003. The controversial name of “Mother Pluckers” was proposed by a friend of an original member and was approved by some of the most hard core members. While many have been uncomfortable with the name, many have coveted the notoriety and have practiced very hard to join since. |
